Here’s how to make a quick and easy pom pom shooter using a pool noodle, a balloon and duct tape:

1. Have an adult use a sharp scissors or knife to cut off a three inch piece from the end of a pool noodle.
   
2. Tie a knot in the neck of a uninflated balloon. Turn the balloon around and have an adult or older child trim 1 inch off the top center (i.e. the drip tip) of the balloon.
   
3. Pull the newly opened end of the balloon over the 3 inch pool noodle and secure with duct tape.
   
4. Load and launch!
   
5. For extended fun, use baskets or boxes as targets. Then have children stand at a distance from the targets and try to shoot their Pom Poms into them.

Supplies Needed

• 1 Inch Pom Poms
• 1 Pool Noodle
• Scissors
• A Balloon
• Colorful Duct Tape
